SSI Network | MPG Belgrade: Empowering Sustainability: Garnier’s Green Beauty Initiative
Garnier as one of the leading cosmetic brands is committed to sustainability through its Green Beauty Initiative. In October 2024 Garnier organized road show in 5 biggest cities in Serbia to support recycling of packaging of beauty and cosmetic products. On locations with high frequency was placed an interesting setup with educational and entertaining activities including recycling corners. Visitors had an opportunity to find out more about the importance of recycling, Garnier products and their approach to sustainable packaging. The roadshow campaign was supported by activities on social media.
Estimated 8.000 people visited the setup while 3.000 people participated in activities (118% vs plan), more than 4.100 products were sampled (127% vs plan) and over 3.000 (198% vs plan) cosmetic and beauty products were brought for recycling.
Concept, design and overall production of project was done by MPG Belgrade, a member of SSI.
Roadshow activities are a great tool to achieve awareness and lasting impressions of the target group through interesting experiences. Visiting a roadshow people can experience in real life all that brand says it stands for. Good location selection is of crucial importance and having enough time for obtaining all needed licenses while little variations in classical setup can make big additional value. Contingency plans are recommended so the team could react in case of bad weather or unexpected situations on spot.
